Debbie Low

Debbie Low is a vocalist and graduate from Capilano College's Bachelor of Music Jazz Studies Program. She has performed with top vocal groups such as SOLI, Nitecap and Phoenix Chamber Choir. She currently is the Director of Music at Royal City Community Church in New Westminster, performs regularly with her jazz quartet, and teaches private voice lessons.


Bekah Peterson

Bekah Peterson

Bekah Peterson received her Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Capilano College. A sought-after soloist, she has performed with many well-known jazz artists such as: Kenny Werner, Cedar Walton, Nneena Freelon, Ed Thigpen, Regina Carter, and has participated in numerous festivals including the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.

Carman J. Price

Carman J. Price

Carman J. Price is an indemand singer for many of Vancouver’s top vocal ensembles including musica intima and Phoenix Chamber Choir. His standards quartet has performed at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival and he is a recent vocal performance graduate from the well-respected jazz program at Capilano College.


Lane Price

Lane Price

Lane Price began studying music seriously at Capilano College in North Vancouver, BC. Majoring in composition, he began writing and arranging for many vocal and instrumental ensembles. As a singer he performs in the vocal ensembles SOLI and musica intima as well as being a guest soloist for other choirs in the Vancouver area.


Bess Durey

Bess Durey

Bess Durey's zest for vocal ingenuity and resounding love of swing has gained her a reputation as one of the Lower Mainland's most promising young vocalists. Bess currently studies with local great Kate Hammett-Vaughn, and also leads her own jazz trio.


Carlos Arias

Carlos Arias

Carlos Arias spends his time working as a singer, producer and sound engineer. After studying voice at Capilano College, Carlos decided to pursue Sound Design at Vancouver Film School. Since then he has been producing gospel recordings for churches and singing with various bands and ensembles.

Shannon Thue

Shannon Thue

Shannon Thue is a rising young star on our local scene, pianist/composer/arranger, Shannon is a graduate of the Capilano College Jazz studies program. Influenced by jazz greats like Oscar Peterson and Ella Fitzgerald(Shannon's also a very fine singer), she plays in the mainstream tradition - swinging and very cool.


Patrick Metzger

Patrick Metzger

Patrick Metzger has recently completed three years at Capilano College in the jazz program. He performed with Don Clark as a member of "The Boswell Allstar World Orchestra". He has also performed in concert with Kurt Elling, Dee Daniels, Denzel Sinclair .These days his solid bass style is the backbone of "lesismore".


Mike Magnusson

Mike Magnusson

Mike Magnusson's exceptional drumming skills keep him quite busy on the Vancouver music scene. He is a regular member of many top ensembles in the city and continually plays with some of Vancouver's finest musicians.
